FLEET SERVICE PROVIDER SCORES AT BHISHO

THE Eastern Cape government is being taken for a ride by its fleet service provider and is paying up to four times more for a car than the public does each month.

The Democratic Alliance said the first mistake had been government’s decision to outsource its own fleet about seven years ago. “It started off paying something like R800 million and now about R3 billion is being spent on the fleet,” the party’s Pine Pienaar said.  Read the full story in the Daily Dispatch.
