THE Eastern Cape government has splashed out about R6million to buy brand new luxury vehicles for the province’s kings and senior traditional leaders.

The DA’s Veliswa Mvenya said her party welcomed the gesture to give respect to traditional leaders, but was concerned that expensive vehicles were bought. “If government was to provide transport it should buy good and affordable cars.
