PROVINCIAL opposition parties have rejected the ANC’s investigation of allegations of nepotism and mismanagement against OR Tambo Mayor and ANC NEC member Zoleka Capa, calling the probe nothing more than lip-service.
The parties were referring to a visit by ANC national executive committee member Derek Hanekom to the municipality last weekend, on what he called a fact-finding mission into the activities of Capa. Democratic Alliance provincial leader Bobby Stevenson said they had already launched an investigation into these activities, and did not have much faith in recent ANC processes. “I don’t believe anything will come of it,” he said.
