Legislature Leader Bobby Stevenson and other party members were hard at work in Port Elizabeth at the weekend promoting the DA's alternatives for education in South Africa.
PUTTING his money where his mouth is, Finance MEC Mcebisi Jonas will take to the stage in the first Dispatch/University of Fort Hare dialogue to partner with a government department.
The dialogue will raise the question: How can the province’s money best be put to use. It follows the provincial budget presentation earlier this week.
Public participation is key to the event and comments from the floor will be welcomed.
Also taking the microphone will be the DA’s Bobby Stevenson; the ANC’s Mlibo Qoboshiyane; Congress of the People’s Sam Kwelita;; Cosatu’s Mandla Rayi; Derek Luyt from the Public Service Accountability Monitor; and John Smith from the Border-Kei Chamber of Business.
The event takes place at the Sanlam Hall at the University of Fort Hare on Wednesday, March 10, from 18.30pm.
