ONLY days after the killing of AWB leader Eugene Terre’Blanche, Nelson Mandela Bay Mayor Zanoxolo Wayile has announced the formation of a multi- party task team to drive racial unity and reconciliation in the city.
Reacting to Wayile’s initiative, DA Bhisho caucus leader Bobby Stevenson said reconciliation and nation-building were “key components of building a stable democratic society”. This meant “we need leaders from all components of civil society to speak out on this issue. We do not only need the politicians to do this but also church leaders. Read the full story in The Herald.
