PAY DELAY HOLD UP BUILDING OF PE SCHOOL

HOPES that children roaming the streets in Chatty Greenfield, Port Elizabeth will have a school this year will be dashed if the contractor is not paid soon.

DA education spokesman Edmund van Vuuren said he was unhappy with the delay. He had spoken to the chief director of school infrastructure, Zama Tom, recommending the payment of R9-million to the contractor last month.  Read the full story in The Herald.
