When it was revealed in July that Buffalo City Mayor Zukisa Faku and her supporters had rejected a legal opinion by not to oppose a court application by ANC Whip Sonny van Rensburg for an interim interdict prohibiting her from taking on Mandla Sithole as municipal manager, there was no outcry, writes Daily Dispatch columnist Eddie Botha.
