SADTU WON’T HELP MATRICS

With just two weeks until thousands of matriculants sit for their final exams, the biggest teachers’ union in the Eastern Cape has refused to be part of a plan to help the matrics.

Democratic Alliance education portfolio committee provincial spokesperson Edmund van Vuuren said it would be difficult for the province to even make 50 percent pass rate this year.
