Corrupt public servants in the Eastern Cape have cost the provincial Department of Social Development close to R30million in the last four years.
This was revealed by MEC Nonkosi Mvana, who was responding to a question put forward by the DA in the provincial Legislature last week. The situation has been described as “alarming” by the DA’s leader in the Legislature, Bobby Stevenson, who said: “This indicates that these fraudsters have no shame.
