Local Government MEC Spurns Ministers Determination not to Appoint Corrupt Municipal Manager

The MEC for Local Government in the Eastern Cape is condoning fraud and corruption by supporting the appointment of an unqualified and corrupt Municipal Manager in Camdeboo Municipality. Reverend Pietersen applied for and was successful in obtaining the position of Municipal Manager in Camdeboo Municipality despite not having the required minimum competencies for the position.

DISRUPTION OF DA MARCH BY SADTU AND NEHAWU MEMBERS

EC GOVERNMENT BLOWS R8.5 BILLION ON CONSULTANTS IN THREE YEARS

The Eastern Cape government spent R8.5 billion on consultants over the last three years. A parallel civil service is being established whose duplicate costs run into billions that could otherwise go to fixing our schools, hospitals and roads.
