New figures reveal 83 confirmed cases today, in contrast with the Health Department’s statement yesterday, of 36 cases. The sudden increase in public bus fares in Nelson Mandela Bay is a further burden on already cash-strapped consumers and will stretch household budgets to the limit. DA TO INTERVENE IN VUKANI VILLAGE TORNADO PROJECT

The Democratic Alliance in the Provincial legislature will intervene in the speeding up of the rebuilding of the Vukani Village tornado project in Grahamstown. A 15 month delay in sorting out this problem is unacceptable and shows the continued incompetence of the officials of this department.
